Meetings & Corporate Events

We invite you to discover the historic Friends Meeting of Washington as the venue for your conference, workshop, training, or business meeting. Newly renovated to improve its environmental sustainability and accessibility to all, our facility offers modern conference and meeting spaces.

Centrally located in the bustling Dupont Circle neighborhood and close to numerous embassies, restaurants, and hotels, our venue offers a retreat atmosphere right in the heart of Washington DC. A peaceful oasis within the city, we offer an ideal environment for productive meetings, conferences, workshops, and office retreats, whether you need one room or our entire campus. Due to the lack of religious symbolism in its design, our facility is a space where all can feel welcome and comfortable.

We also offer space for a variety of other types of events, including receptions, dinners, fundraisers, classes, and speakers. Our venue, including its gardens, is also available for filming and photography.

Our Quaker House Living Room is a popular choice for staff retreats and workshops while the Bridge Room or Library accommodate smaller meetings. For larger events, the Assembly Room works well and includes kitchen access for catering. The enclosed gardens offer a beautiful setting for breaks, outdoor sessions, and receptions.

Rates vary per room and we offer discounts when multiple spaces are booked simultaneously. We also offer discounts to nonprofit organizations in the community.

WIFI Internet access is available in all spaces. Our facility also has audiovisual technology available for space users.

We look forward to working with you as your space partner for a dynamic event in Washington DC that accomplishes your goals.

“We would like to thank the Friends Meeting of Washington for extending an invitation to use your facilities for our annual staff retreat. All the accommodations and hospitality worked perfectly with our strategic work plans and the atmosphere was very relaxing and soothing to conduct our retreat. As we continue in the future to hold meetings off site, we will immediately look to the Friends Meeting House for those events. Again, thank you for the hospitality and space.”
