Alcohol: Only beer, wine, champagne, and hard seltzer are ever allowed onsite (no liquors or spirits). Events serving alcohol require permission of our office and an alcohol license from the DC government. Most of the full service caterers and bartenders above have an alcohol license that may cover your event. If not, you are responsible for applying for your own one day license covering the event.

Other full service caterers or bartenders not on this list: Please check with our office prior to signing a contract with them for services. An additional fee of up to $250 may be charged to cover our staff’s time to provide a walk through of our venue as well as to ensure the relevant paperwork is on file with our office.

With approval of our office, guests may also bring in their own food and nonalcoholic beverages on a case by case basis.

“Thank you so much for accommodating us from start to finish. The party and surprise wedding proposal was such an amazing night, and every single inch of space in and around your private gardens that we were able to use worked out perfectly.” ~Anonymous
